The current recession has produced unemployment the likes of which this country hasn't seen in over 25 years. Some reports are surfacing that seems to indicate the economy is gaining some traction both in the stock market, housing and other areas. However, employment continues to lag and many of our fellow citizens are out of work with good jobs hard to come by. We have a great country and the American people, through hard work, dedication and selflessness will undoubtedly pull through these trying times with flying colors. We all must continue to work hard, to contribute and to give back to our communities whenever possible. Helping your neighbors in times of need is the essence of the American character.

As the holiday seasons arrives, we at Cardinal Management Group would like to wish everyone Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas and a Happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.

We are also excited to announce that we are in the process of debuting a new and exciting technology in Virginia that is going to greatly assist our clients in the tracking and control of covenants and architectural standards within their communities. This new product will enable us to take color photographs of violations in the field, "imbed" the photographs into our correspondence with owners and keep track of the data electronically. We are very excited about our expanded and more efficient capabilities in this area and are testing this technology in several of our communities now.

Additionally, we are putting the final touches on a contract with "Association Voice" the leader in web-based solutions for community associations in the United States. This new relationship will enable us to offer greatly expanded services to our clientele to have better access to data (including account statements), better website communications, more payment options for assessments and over all greater efficiencies. The migration of our website and other aspects of this change are being implemented now and within a short period of time, our website will have a whole new look!

Our South Florida team is ready for another great season and had an extremely busy "off season" including moving the corporate office to a brand new facility with state of the art capabilities in Naples. We are also working on becoming even more involved in the Fort Meyers area and expanding our reach from south west Florida northward to central Florida as well. We are re-branding ourselves by dropping the "South Florida" from our name and effective immediately we are now known as "Cardinal Management Group of Florida, Inc.". Things are busier than ever and we face significant challenges associated with the real estate market in Florida. Additionally, and as a reminder, we also offer expanded services for our customers in Florida such as pressure cleaning, janitorial services, pool maintenance, pest control and the like.
